Per Øyvind Bastøe, a sociologist from the University of Oslo, has broad experience from international development and evaluation. He has held senior positions in the Norwegian Directorate of Public Management, in the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, and served at the board of executive directors of the Inter-American Development Bank. He is now director of the Evaluation department in the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation. Bastøe has published several books and articles on evaluation, results based management and organizational change processes.
